Boat trips on the Aare River

Be part of the fun this summer and travel from Thun to Bern, Switzerlands beautiful capital, by rafting along the picturesque and pristine clear water of the Aare River. It is perfect for all ages. The section rafted is a distance of approximately 22 km ending within walking distance of Bern. The trip can take anywhere between 2-3 hours depending on the water flow.Take the train to Thun, rent a boat and give it back in Bern. It's easy! Trains depart several times each hour between Thun and Bern.

Total time on water: 3 hours.

Get-out point: "Eicholz", a large, riverside lawn on the river's right with car park and camp grounds. It is 10 mins by foot to the S-Line Station "Wabern", or 20 mins to the Main Station.
